A politically incorrect action-comedy following the adventures of Unity Spencer, a young colonial girl who has been imbued with Native American powers to defend the US against all enemies. A "sideways sequel" to Vampire Cowboys popular SOUL SAMURAI, Qui's new show SIX ROUNDS OF VENGEANCE follows cowgirl Jess December and samurai outlaw Malcolm Price as they do battle with Long Tooths and Skin Walkers in the post-apocalyptic spaghetti western world of "Lost Vegas".

Set to premiere at The New Ohio Theater in NYC from April 20th thru May 17th, 2015

Director May Adrales and playwright Qui Nguyen join forces with NYU's graduating MFA class of 2015 to create this hybrid work for the stage. Using the "Joint Stock Model" made famous by Caryl Churchill, Qui and May have created a piece focusing on 3 rare mental syndromes (Alien Arm, Sleeping Beauty, & Face Blindness). To be produced this November 2014 at NYU.

Working with Children's Theatre of Minneapolis, playwright Qui Nguyen and composer Shane Rettig take their off-the-wall pop-culture style and apply it to their first collaboration on a children's musical. The story about a little kid adventuring into a world filled with his greatest fears of monsters, bullies, and long-haired rock musicians.
